    Life

    Marion,

You may not remember me because it was a while back and only for a short minute but your story has inspired me and I felt compelled to write to you. I’m sure you remember Veronica Williams, amazing artist and beautiful personality, one of your friends who care and love you so dearly. My name is Emmy; I dated V for a couple years and was privileged enough to meet you. My first memory with you was when V brought me along to one of your Fabulous 5 meetings where you smoked, lived, n loved all your friends and the memories your were sharing with them. I think the group consisted of you, V, Mieka, Stina, and La (Laura). I remember the exact feeling I had while sitting in the room watching all of you who were so close with such a care free way of life. You especially and your outlook on life inspired me and influenced a care free attitude into my life. I only was lucky enough to meet you a few times but those times will forever be imbedded in my heart. I was 15 when I met you and I am 21 now and those memories are not far from my mind. I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. Keep on fighting and always remember to smile while you’re doing it, which I am positive you already do.

    Emmy Moses
